Disneyland 2024 events and holidays
Disneyland has announced all of the dates of everything happening in 2024! Disneyland 2024 events and holidays dates have been announced much earlier than usual. Normally dates for holidays and events are announced a couple of months before they happen but this year, they have all been announced at once! This is so nice for vacation planning for the year! You can now plan around the holidays and events you want to be there for well in advance. However, keep in mind that you can only make Disneyland Park reservations 180 days in advance.

So here are all the Disneyland 2024 events!
Seasonal Events 2024
Lunar New Year: January 23-February 18
Lunar New Year is a tribute to Chinese, Vietnamese and Korean traditions. This is a multicultural celebration in the Year of the Dragon. It will include Asian-inspired food and beverages, vibrant décor and Mushu from Mulan leading the way in Mulan’s Lunar New Year Procession.
Celebrate Gospel: February 17 & 24
Celebrate Gospel concerts will perform at the Fantasyland Theatre and will be headlined by Marvin Sapp on Feb. 17 and Tasha Cobbs Leonard on Feb. 24. Celebrate Gospel is an tribute to Gospel music that brings together music artists and community choirs from across Southern California
Food and Wine Festival at California Adventure: March 1-April 22
The Food and Wine Festival is an extravaganza with creative foods and beverages that takes place every year at California Adventure. There will be cooking demonstrations and family friendly entertainment inspired by diverse cultures and cuisines from California. And Soarin’ Over California will return during the festival! Season of the Force: April 5-June 2
Season of the Force at Disneyland park will have specially themed food, beverages and merchandise. And Hyperspace Mountain will return. There will be new adventures on Star Tours – The Adventures Continue, and catch a new perspective on the fireworks from Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge with galactic music.
Anaheim Ducks Days at Disney California Adventure Park Feb. 22-23:
For the Anaheim Ducks Hockey Club’s 30th anniversary, the Disneyland Resort and the Anaheim Ducks celebrate with a two-day event in Hollywood Land. It will include a celebratory cavalcade, a fan zone with themed activities and photo opps, plus appearances by selectteam players.
Pixar Fest: April 26-August 4
Pixar Fest returns to the Disneyland Resort from April 26 through Aug. 4, 2024. Pixar Fest is a celebration of friendship with a new daytime parade, Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration! at DCA, Together Forever – A Pixar Nighttime Spectacular at Disneyland, colorful decor, themed menu items and merchandise. The Disneyland Resort, California Adventure, Downtown Disney and Disneyland Resort Hotels will sport a Pixar twist for this limited time.
You will also see some new characters in the park including Mei the Red Panda from Turning Red and Ember and Wade fro Elemental. Additional entertainment and offerings will be announced at a later date.
Halloween Time: August 23-October 31
Halloween Time will return to Disneyland with Halloween decor, characters in costume and themed attractions, food and merch! Read all about Halloween Time at Disneyland here.
Plaza de La Familia: August 23-November 2
The everlasting bonds of family and Mexican traditions of Día de los Muertos are honored through a cultural experience featuring storytelling and music from Pixar’s Coco.
Holidays at the Disneyland Resort: November 15
Christmas returns to Disneyland November 15th with Disney Festival of Holidays at Disney California Adventure, seasonal overlays, Holiday spectaculars and décor throughout the resort. Click here to read all about Christmas at Disneyland
After Dark Events 2024
Disneyland park will host four themed soirées with unique entertainment, rare character encounters and specialty menus during the Disneyland 2024 events
Sweethearts’ Nite
Jan. 23, 25, 30, Feb. 1, 6, 8, 12 & 14, 2024, at Disneyland Park
Disney Channel Nite
Mar. 5 & 7, 2024, at Disneyland Park
Star Wars Nite
April 16, 18, 23, 25, 30, May 2, 7 & 9, 2024 at Disneyland Park
Pride Nite
June 18 & 20, 2024 at Disneyland Park
Oogie Boogie Bash- Will be returning but no dates announced yet
Oogie Boogie Bash is a family-friendly Halloween party that includes treat trails, rare character sightings and unique entertainment. And be sure to dress up in your favorite Halloween costume!
Oogie Boogie Bash is returning in 2024 but dates haven’t been announced yet. Watch for those to be announced a little later in the year! The dates are usually announced in June or July.
More Announcements
Pixar Place Hotel- January 30, 2024
Pixar Place Hotel will open Jan. 30, 2024, after its transformation from Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel. It will be changed into a fully Pixar-themed hotel. It will offer Pixar-themed guest rooms, a new dining area featuring Great Maple restaurant, a rooftop pool area, play court and more.
Fantasmic! May 24
Fantasmic! will once return to the Rivers of America in Disneyland park on May 24. It will feature new special effects and a thrilling new battle scene between Sorcerer Mickey and Maleficent, In this show, events and images from Disney stories come to life through music, live performers, character appearances and state-of-the-art projections.
Downtown Disney
Be prepared for many new restaurants coming to Downtown Disney 2024. Including Paseo and Céntrico, and Din Tai Fung,
And musical entertainment, activities and events on the newly opened Downtown Disney LIVE! stage and lawn on the Downtown Disney’s west end.
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure (old Splash Mountain) will debut at Disneyland park later in 2024. Embark on a musical journey inspired but the movie The Princess and the Frog.
Reservations
You still need reservations to enter Disneyland and can make those when you buy your tickets through Get Away Today or Disneyland. Make sure the dates you want are available before purchasing your tickets. And if they aren’t, check back every day because often new reservations will pop up.
